Note N116A solicitor's account after the death of Andrew includes an item declaring that his son Andrew had called at the solicitor's office and left "a leaf from a Family Bible from which it appeared that the deceased was born on the 11th of february 1830". 1

Andrew farmed in Craigalappan all his life. He lived in Rock Cottage, sharing it with his brother John until 1874.
