She was born 17 Jun 1843 in Chorley, Lancaster, England, and died 12 Oct 1928 in Keyneton, South Australia.
In the newspaper reports of her marriage she is called Marianne. She was the orphaned daughter of William and Mary Price of Chorley. A Mrs Mayson, also of Chorley, took charge of the orphan and when she died her children, Isabella and Charles took the 'ward' with them to Adelaide, Australia arriving on 28 November 1950 aboard the James Gibb
