Sarah presumably married John Pickup (1765 - ) about 1792 based on the christening date of their first child Edward on the 29th September 1793 at St Paul's Church, Deptford, Kent.^[2]

On the 29th September 1793 Sarah's son Edward was christened and they were living at Five Bells Lane, New Cross, Deptford, Kent.^[3]

On the 12th August 1801 Sarah's son John was christened at St Paul's Church, Deptford, Kent, and they were living in Slaughter House Lane, Deptford.^[4]

On the 30th November 1806 Sarah's son James was christened at St Paul's Church, Deptford, Kent. They were living in Church Street, Deptford.^[5]
