Biography

Henry Price (aka John Henry Price) was the husband of Anna Elizabeth Grissom, married 02 Dec, 1791 in Montgomery County VA. He was the son of John Michael Price, Sr. and Margarette Killian. J. Michael Price, Sr. was a patriot - in 1783, during the Revolutionary War, his property and fort served as a training ground for the army.

German New River Settlement by Rev. Ulysses S.A. Heavener, M.A. p 70 Henry, son of Michael I Married Ann Grissom and moved to Ohio in 1804 . This Henry is supposed to be the John Henry or the John that got a land Grant for the land given to him by his father and contained the mill site of Michael Price I and owned by the Smith family in the 1920's. Heavener states that they had 3 children, Anna Marie, b 1797 Rachael b 1799 and Michael b 1802.
