George was born about 1827.
Notes
On the uncertainty of his parents: They are probably correct. George is living in the same house with them in 1851, and he is probably one of the children in George Sr's household in 1842. But I have not yet seen a document which explicitly states they are his parents (as opposed to aunt/uncle, etc) so I am erring on the side of caution here. --Murtaugh-30
