My father was born Ralph Granc in 1915 in Kent, OH to unknown parents. He was adopted in 1917 from the St. Ann's Infant Asylum and Maternity Hospital in Cleveland, OH. On my maternal side,my great grandmother is Maria Ratulovska, the child of Jacobus Ratulovsky and Catharina Borovy of Rabcice, Slovakia. Maria arrived in the USA from Budapest on 9/13/1903. She was baptized in Rabcice, Namestovo, Slovakia on 25 Oct 1876. Maria indicated her race was Slovak on her naturalization papers. Maria had a child named Anna Ratulovska in 1896. Anna's father is unknown. Maria and Anna arrived in the USA in 1903 and settled in East Chicago, IN. My maternal grandfather was Piotr Walenda born in 1880 to Kazimier Walenda and Rozalia Matysiak in Ruda Talubska Poland. I want to find my dad's birth family.

Hi Donald!

I see that you have had your DNA tested, congratulations! Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

To be able to add profiles, you will need to upgrade (there is no cost). You can do this from your Upgrade page. Just answer the five questions, e.g. who you want to communicate with, if others can see your family tree, what surnames, locations, or topics interest you, etc, and click on the green box that says "Upgrade”.

Upgrading just means you will become a Family Member with the ability to work on your immediate ancestors to help us achieve our goal of joining all individual family trees into one global family tree.
