Biography
Wally was born in Pittsburgh, PA in March of 1950 to Marion Ada Dobbins from McDonald, PA and Wallace E Price. Wally's family roots extends in to North Carolina. We have very little information on and his mother and Father. When Wally's father passed away in 1953 from severe burn injuries he rec'd while working, the Marion moved her family moved from PA to Ca when he was 3 or and his sister Sylvia (passed on in 2017)just an infant to be where her sister Betty and husband Charles lived in Oxnard. I don't really know how life was for my dad Wally was but from what I gather he was always well liked, fun loving and rode a motorcycle.
He met Debbie Davison (our mother) in Dec 1973 when I was just 6mth old and Tina was 5. He step in and stepped up and he became a father to us girls. Our sister was born in 75'. Debbie and Wally had a hard life in CA trying to raise a family. They had their good times, difficult times, hardships my mom did not make it easy. He stayed though, he loved her very much to where he couldn't leave her or us. He was great father, protector and provider. He made the best for us for what little we had.
I am proud to call him my father and he will on. He left behind his bio daughter Sonja Lorraine Price who had four children, Lilly Marie, Demetrius Eugene (passed in 2007), Annabella Mae, and Victor Alfonso. His step daughter Tina Marie who had three children Nicholas Manuel with 3 daughters, Ashley Marie with 7 sons and 1 daughter, Christal Ann with 1 son and me Angela Lynn with 1 son Jonathan Hawk no children and Dezserae Jade no children. He left behind many friends and relatives who loved Wally just as much as I do and held him in the highest respect for his kindness, love of life & family and fur babies. Wally was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you were deserving but don't take his kindness as weakness. He died from heart failure and diabetes complications. We miss him very much. [1]
