In the name of God Amen. September 24, 1726 I, John Price, Parish of Christ Church in the County of Middlesex, being low and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, I make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say Principally and first of all, I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I commend it to the earth to be buried in Christian like and decent manner at the direction of my Executor hereafter named and as touching each worldly estate which it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.

I give and bequeath and bequest unto my son Thomas Price my plantation and all my land in the county together with ______ appurtenances _________ to him and his heirs forever. Item I give unto my two sons Robert and James Price all my tract of Land in Essex and King and Queen County to be equally divided between them and their heirs forever and my desire is that they receive their estate at twenty one years of age. Item I give unto my other three sons John, Samuel and William Price, each of them, sixty pounds sterling to buy each of them a tract of land for them and their heirs forever. Item I give unto my daughter Jane Price sixty pounds Sterling after her marriage to ?Capt.?  ?isemand with her other part of my estate. As for the rest of my estate vizt. My Negroes and moveable estate whatsoever, setting apart what is before given, I give to be equally divided amongst my six sons and one daughter. And if any of my children should dye before they come to age then their parts of my moveable Estate to be divided among the survivors. My will is that my son Thomas Price shall have the care and ____tion of my other children so long as he shall do well by them, when it proves otherways that then they or either of them and their estate to be taken out of his hands. Also my will is that my son Thomas Price be of age at my death to act or do anything concerning my estate and my will is that when the first of my children is Qualified to Demand their part of my estate that then it shall be appraised and what it comes to a share to be p. each of y? I do hereby constitute, make and ordain my son Thomas Price my only and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament but in case he should Dye before this my will be performed, then I appoint my son Robert Price my only and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament. I appoint my two friends Mr. Humphrey Jones and Mr. ?Ohmer/Oliver? __________ my trustees to advise my Executor for the managing of my estate. I give to each of my trustees twenty shillings to buy them _______ In witness _____ I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Whereas in this my last Will on the other side it is mentioned that if any of my children should dye before they come to age then their part of my moveable Estate to be equally Divided amongst the survivors, I do hereby declare it be ______________ that my Negroes in such a case shall go to the survivors in the same manner. At a court held for Middlesex County the 6th day of December this Will of John Price Gent ____ with the Codicil was produced in Court by Thomas Price, Executor therein named who made oath ______ and this Will and Codicil were further proved in Court by the oaths of the witnesses for them.
