Biography
Catherine was born about 1841 in what is now Choctaw County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Charles Priester and Bersheba Thompson. After her parents' deaths she appeared in the 1860 Lauderdale County, Mississippi census with her uncle, David B. Thompson, listed as C. M. Priester.
