Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

No questions per se. I have been a WikiTree user for several years. But my prior profile sign in failed to work. So I recreated myself and now working on many immediate family members that I know were already entered by myself several years ago. Very disheartening to see all that effort gone.
I see my profile is now Primm-20 rather than Prim-247.
I gather my prior profile numer located and merged by admin as I reached out to them as well. Yet my several levels of badges and and what not are not there yet.

I have been a WikiTree member for a several years (mabe a decade or so). My prior account appears to have been closed or lost.
I only visit a WikiTeee now few times a year. My last visit was within a year or so. I had hundreds of hours of data entry and effort previously through my prior account access (including badges & DNA).
I was able to create a new WikiTree account with the same exact email.
I reviewed my emails (including SPAM folders) and found no email indicating my prior WikiTree profile was in jeopardy.
What I could see as my prior data entries are now associated to a closed account.
I will inquiring to WikiTree Admin to investigate.
We have been unable to deliver email to you so we changed your email settings to reduce the number of messages we send. If we can't reach you soon your account will need to be closed.

How's everything going? You might be finding duplicate profiles now. We have a Help Page to help you learn what to do with them. Be sure to check for your pending merges by going to FIND, PENDING MERGES, and sort for those waiting on you. Upon completing a merge, be sure to clean up/edit the Biography as ALL information from both profiles are copied and remove any duplicate info.
If you want updates on surnames you can add them by going to MY WIKITREE, NAV HOME PAGE, scroll down to just below WIKI GENEALOGY FEED to EDIT FOLLOWED SURNAMES. You can add up to 20.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those situations.
