Ellen Primmer (married name Harwood) was born in 1863 in Woodford, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Sarah (Hatten) Primmer and Isaac Primmer.^[1]

She married Patrick Harwood in 1885 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:
