Gilbert was born after 1810. Gilbert is the child of Isidore Prince and Judith Gagnon.

Gilbert, child of Ida Prince & Judith Gagnon, married Marie Richard on 3 February 1845 in Saint-Gregoire (St-Grégoire), Québec (Quebec), Canada.[1]

Gilbert's daughter Mary D Roux died on 15 September 1903 in Millbury, Massachusetts, United States.[2]
