Biography

Michael N. Prince lifelong Fitchburg resident; 51 Fitchburg Michael N. Prince, 51, of Fitchburg, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Michael was born in Fitchburg, August 21, 1957, a son of the late Ernest and Claire (Maguy) Prince and was a lifelong Fitchburg resident. He attended St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg and was a 1975 graduate of St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Elizabeth A. (Kronick) Prince; a stepson, Jeremy Karge of Fitchburg; two sisters, Kathy Coder of and Cheryl Flanagan both of Fitchburg. He also leaves a grandson, Joshua Karge of Fitchburg and his loyal dog, "Buddy". Most recently, Michael worked as a sales associate at Rocky's Hardware on Summer St, Fitchburg. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and listening to music. From 1975 1979, Michael served his country in the United States Marines having attained the rank of Lance Corporal. In July 1979, while stationed in Okinawa, Michael received a Commendation for Meritorious Service from Commander J.W. Pearson of the Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 235 for outstanding service to his unit.

PRINCE A funeral Mass celebrating the lives of Michael Prince and his mother, Claire, will be offered 10 am Thursday, October 30th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St, Fitchburg. Calling hours are 5-8 Wednesday, October 29th at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St, Fitchburg. Please see www.isabellefuneral.com for additional information.
