Hannah was born about 1728 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of John Prince and Reliance Fuller. Her siblings John, Joseph, Rebeccah and Samuel were born from 1716 to 1724.[1] She and those siblings are named in the will of her father John Prince.[2]
She married 23 May 1750 Thomas Conklin[3] in Southold, New York, where her parents had settled after their children were born. She died in 1785.[4]
Research Notes
Hannah was born before 1738, since she was not married before age 12 in May 1750. One source indicates a christening date of 13 Dec 1738,[5] another a birth date of 13 Dec. 1738,[1] another a birth in 1738.[6] another a birth in 1728,[7] and still another a birth of 13 Dec 1728.[8]
Sources may assume a christening occurred in the same year as the year of birth.
She likely was christened in 1738 in Massachusetts before her parents and family moved to Southold.
