Biography

William was born on the 7th July 1889 in Preston, Lancashire the son of Frederick Lee Prince (1854 - 1934) and Louisa (Hesketh) Prince (1855 - 1921).^[1][2]

1891 Census on the 5th April 1891 William was living at 2 Gardner Street, Preston, Lancashire with his parents Frederick and Louisa and his siblings Alice, Elizabeth, Louisa, Benjamin and Benjamin.^[3]

1901 Census on the 31st March 1901 William was living at 2 Gardner Street, Preston, Lancashire with his parents Frederick and Louisa, and his siblings Alice, Elizabeth, Louisa, Edwin, Ralph, Frederick, John and Albert. Alice's husband Walter Lynch was also living there.^[4]

1911 Census on the 2nd April 1911 William a builder's cart driver, was living at 2 Gardner Street, Preston, Lancashire with his parents Frederick and Louisa, and his siblings Louisa, Edwin, Ralph, John and Albert.^[5]
