Biography

George was born on 11 July, 1859 in Chateaugay, Franklin Co., New York[1]. He was the son of Jarad Prindle and Sarah LaPointe. [2]George married Elizabeth Hill, on 9 July, 1882, in Jackson Co., Iowa[3]. They had at least one child, Lena Bell Prindle, born about 1884. She married Hiley E. Graves on 12 April, 1902 in Maquoketa, Jackson Co., Iowa[4]. Divorce was granted to Elizabeth by default by 3 Mach,1892 in Jackson Co., Iowa[5]. On 21 April, 1893, George married Margaret A. Harris Guyer in Jackson, Jackson, Iowa[6][7]. George "and Atwood Liston spent several days in Dubuque during the week"[8]. Sometime between 1893 and 1900, George and Margaret had moved to Rockford, IL where he was working as a teamster in 1905. See residence below for source. In 1907, George was working at Hess & Hopkins Leather Co in Rockford where he and his wife, Margaret resided at 1315 Ridge Ave[9]. See residences below By 1920 he was a widower[10]. On 17 June, 1925 George married Estella Simpson in Winnebago Co., IL[11]. He died on 3 May, 1933 in Rockford, Winnebago Co., IL[12][13]and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford, Winnebago Co., IL on 5 May, 1933[14].
