His will is dated 10 September 1772 in Newtown and proved on 1 December 1772 in Danbury. He mentions his sons, Joseph, Abel, Joel, Jothan, Ebenezer, Eliada, and Nathan, and his daughters, Ann Sharp, Mary Skidmore, Sarah Northrup, Experience Hubbell, and Joanna Brinsmaid. His inventory was taken on 31 December 1772 in Newtown.[1]
