1880 Census,--Grace (aka Jennie) was 6 years old and found with her mother in the home of Truman E. Cunningham, her brother-in-law married to her eldest sister Margaret Jane. Also there were her mother, Serepta, and sister Matilda.
1885 Iowa Census Jennie (Grace), age 10, was back where she was born, living with friends--a young couple with no children, named Frank and Emma J. George. Unable to find a family relationship to date. Also in household, Bertha M. Pickard, age 2.
Jennie lived/visited in Colorado, near her mother Serepta and cousin A. G. Huff. Further info. to follow.
Jennie was an actress and teacher of elocution. 01OCT1904 According to a CLIPPER article--Jennie Elmer at Boyd’s Theatre, Omaha, NE in play “A Runaway Tramp.”
She married Harry Elmer but no marriage certificate has been found yet. After her husband's death, she was proprietor of a hotel in Springfield IL.

1920 Census shows her living with her Mother Hannah Serepta Abrams and her "brother" D. A. Price.
1920-1929 Jennie married D. A. Price. Widowed before April 1930.
In April 1930 Census in Sterling, Logan, Colorado, Jennie Price was living in the household of Robert Devoe, proprietor of the (indecipherable) Hotel and acting as housekeeping manager. Owning a hotel in Illinois previously gave her good experience, no doubt, for this job. Special note: Census info cites age at 1st marriage was 14.
