Biography
Robert was born about 1800 in Scotland and arrived in the Colony of New South Wales on the 'Denmark Hall' in 1824. [1]
He married Mabella A O Inches in 1837 in the Hunter district of New South Wales. [2]
He was a farmer at Bective, near Tamworth. [3]
He was aged 75 when he died on 13 February 1875 at Bective. [4][5]

Death was registered in 1876, but the death notice in the newpaper confirms that he died in February 1875.
