Elizabeth Pritchard; b. 29 Apr 1873 at Turtle Creek, Allegheny, Pennsylvania;

m. William McClelland Rowles, son of William Rowles and Mary Wisor, 27 Dec 1890 at M. E. Church, Woodland, Clearfield, Pennsylvania; Max in marriage record, was working as a laborer and resided in Woodland. Lizzie gave her age as 18 and her residence as Brisbin;

She died 30 Jul 1955 at Clearfield, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, at age 82; she was buried at Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, (1873-1955 on stone).

Her obituary was published as follows:

MRS. ELIZABETH ROWLES WOODLAND — Mrs. Elizabeth Pritchard Bowles. 82. of Woodland died at the Clearfield Hospital at 8:30 p. m. Saturday to an illness of five weeks.
Mrs. Rowles was born at Tootle Creek April 29, 1873, a daughter of the late Daniel and Susan Gordon Pritchard. She was a member at the Woodland Methodist Church and was married to Mack Rowles in 1897. He preceded her in death in 1941.
Surviving are four children, Arthur, Montville. 0.; Chance,' and Mrs. Margaret Bumbarger, both of Clearfield: and Andrew. Woodland. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Ruth Spencer: Mrs. Cathryn Spencer: Eli Pritchard and Mrs., Phoebe Waite. A daughter, Dorothy, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held from the Lenny Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p. in. with Rev. D vid Reams officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 o'clock tonight until time of services Wednesday.
