Biography
"G. Evelyn Vickers, 87, of Dresden, died at 11PM Friday May 23, 2003 at the home of her son, Roger Vickers, in Dresden. Mrs. Vickers was born January 31, 1916 in Dresden, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Reed) Pritchard. Mrs. Vickers was a member of the Trinway United Methodist Church and a charter member of American Legion Post #399 in Dresden. She was also a member of VFW in Dresden and enjoyed the Dresden Senior Center Craft Club. Mrs. Vickers had worked at Cassady's Drug Store, Senter's Dry Cleaning and Good Samaritan Medical Center."[1]
