Jones BIRTH 12 Jan 1843 Highgate, Franklin County, Vermont, USA DEATH 2 Feb 1920 (aged 77) Orting, Pierce County, Washington, USA BURIAL Washington Soldiers Home Cemetery Orting, Pierce County, Washington, USA PLOT Section 2, Circle G, Site 12 MEMORIAL ID #5551146 -- FROM MEMORIAL SITE: Cassius M. Jones, son of Josiah John Jones (1815-1860) and Mary Elizabeth McClure Jones (1814-1899), Cassius's parents moved from Vermont to Green County, Wisconsin, where he married Maryetta unk Jones (1846- ) about 1865 before moving to Black Hawk County, Iowa, to farm with his wife Maryetta. Not sure what became of Maryetta as we find him in Boise Idaho where on 24 Jun 1904 he married Mary Anna (Pricherd) Gardner. He lived in Arizona and Oregon, before finally settling in Orting, Pierce, Washington where Mary Anna died in early 1915. We find that he married for a third time to Anna T. (Boner) Ray (1849-1931) in late 1915. Anna's first husband Leander Ray had died in 1914. Contributor: fordvickie (47140740)
