She was a fun loving tom boy and could run faster than everyone in her grade school. She loved to dance. She loved her father and drove out with her boys to visit him in New Mexico long after her parents were divorced.
She married David R. Horlacher and had a total of 10 children. She loved her children. She made clothes from them, bottled fruit, took them swimming, sledding, ice skating, taught some children to snow ski. She loved the outdoors. She gardened, made quilts (over 100), served the neighbors and community. She did a cake decorating class for the community, taught silk flower arrangements, honey bees and you name it. She made homemade fudge and taffy.
She served about 9 missions, one being a Family History Mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved to do family history and installed it in some of her children.
She is a great example of hard work, loved out door activities, patriotic, humorous, entertaining, fun loving, and always gave of herself. She sacrificed many things for her children. Wouldn't even buy herself a new dress ever.
