Biography

Israel Isa Fay Pritchett, son of John Garrett Pritchard / Pritchett & Clarissa Clara Fay, was born in November 1875 in London, Middlesex county, Ontario, Canada.

In 1895 Isa wed Maude Bridgewood. They had the following known children:

1. Raymond Pritchett, b. abt 1898;
2. Frank Pritchett, born abt 1900;
3. Helen Pritchett, b. abt 1902.
4. Elliot Pritchett, b. abt 1903;
5. Mabel Pritchett, b. abt 1906;
6. Fred Pritchett, b. abt 1906;
7. Irene Pritchett, b. abt 1908;
8. Edward Pritchett, b. abt 1909.

According to the 1900 U.S. Census of Dearborn, Michigan, Israel and Maud were both born in Canada: he emigrated to the United States abt 1878, she abt 1881. They were married about 1896, had three sons by 1900, all born in Michigan, USA. No marriage record for Israel and Maud can be found at FamilySearch. The number of years married can be seen in the 1900 U.S. Census. They were both young when coming into the USA, so they most likely came with their parents in those years of 1878 and 1881.

Isa Fay Pritchett died at thirty-two years of age in a railroad accident on 28 April 1908 in Van Buren township, Wayne county, Michigan. ^[1] He was buried at Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti, Washtenaw county, Michigan ^[2]
