John was born in 1752. He served as a sergeant in a Virginia militia during the Revolutionary War.[1]
John married Elizabeth Hudnall on 21 Dec 1786 in Fauquier County, Virginia.
John Proctor died on 11 January 1856 in Washington Township, Elkhart County, Indiana. He was buried in in Proctor Cemetery, Elkhart County, Indiana. There is a Washington Township Trustee listed on the sign to the cemetery.[2]
