Biography
John was born in 1831. He is the son of Robert Proctor and Jane Critchell. He married Virginie Samson of L'Ardoise, Nova Scotia in L'Ardoise in 1854. Virginie is a sister of Helene, who married John's brother Richard 9 days later.
