1745/46, Richard Proctor served as godfather to Levi Rogers in Albemarle Parish, Surry Co. VA 11 Jan
1760, Richard Proctor to Joshua Proctor 250 acres, 5 March. When he sold this land, 22 Sept 1760, it is noted he received it from his father. Surry Co. VA deed bk. 8, pp.20, 39. It was 240 acres on the north side of Blackwater Swamp bound by the Henry Watkins, Thomas Cocke and Christopher Moring, Cabin Point Road/Laurel Springs Rd (602). Blackwater Swamp is boundary for Prince George and Surry Cos. Pr Geo is on the north, Surry on the south. Technically, their land was in Pr. Geo. Co.
