Leroy Proctor was born on a mid-summer day in Nebraska in the year of 1911, on August 10; Leroy was the son of Alva and Ide Belle Draper Proctor. Leroy watched his mother pass away when he was just seven years old, in 1918. He would see his only brother Franklyn die a few years later. It was just him and his dad, now. Leroy reached maturity and married Dorothy Ellsworth on another summer day in July, on the 10th. The Draper family history then looses track of Leroy and his father Alva Proctor.
