Mission
The mission of the Cyprus Project is to provide members who share an interest in Cypriot genealogy with a hub from which to research, learn, and grow, alongside others with similar geographic and genealogical interests.
Goals
- To bring like-minded WikiTreers together in a collaborative effort to make every Cypriot profile on WikiTree the best it can be.
- To provide a single location at which to gather the available resources and information necessary to assist members in building and documenting Cypriot genealogies.
- To develop our members' expertise in Cypriot genealogical research in order to better assist less-experienced members in their genealogical pursuits.

Communication

- Discord: The popular live chat program called Discord is a place where we can engage in rapid communication, which is great for collaboration. If you are new to Discord, feel free to create an account, then go to WikiTree Discord Server to have your account verified. See Help:Discord for more information. Once your account has been verified and you have been awarded a Global Project badge, you can access the Cyprus Channel set up for group discussions in the Global Project Discord server.
Cypriot Roots Sticker
If you wish to recognize the Cypriot ancestry on a profile, use the Cypriot Roots Sticker.
Add the following template at the top of the Biography section, just under the == Biography == heading:
{{Heritage Sticker |roots=Cypriot |image= European_Flags.jpg |imagetext= Flag of Cyprus }} |
