Welcome to WikiTree's Empress of Ireland project. This is a subproject of the Canadian History project.

The RMS Empress of Ireland was an ocean liner that sank in the St. Lawrence River on 29 May 1914. It is the largest peacetime maritime accident in Canadian history, and is sometimes called "Canada's Titanic."
