The goal of this project is to identify the descendants of Hans Adam Hüter ( Huter / Heiter / Heater / Heeter ) who emigrated from Germany to Pennsylvania in 1751. He and his wife Elizabeth (-----) have descendants that spread initially across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin; and now can be found throughout the country.
Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Jeff Heeter.
I am researching this for my own interest, but also for a more in-depth book that I intend to complete by early 2018 in anticipation of my father's 70th birthday. His mother's side of the family has well-documented New England roots; but our paternal line has a fair amount of misinformation and confusion that it's time to resolve.
