Welcome to Remember the Alamo Project
DEFENDERS OF THE ALAMO were not just Texians, Tejanos. Many states of the USA and countries had volunteers born there, but read of the Texas' settlers and troubles with Mexico. They came to offer their help, and were among those listed in the Alamo garrison.
This project is for those who have WikiTree profiles of people who were part of the Defense of the Alamo or were in the Texas Revolution.

- 1.Add the template . to the text area of any biography profile page or your own page. This will add you to the list of participants on the Remember_the Alamo_Project.
- 2.Add remember_the_alamo to your list of followed tags. That way you'll see all our discussions in your G2G Feed.
- 3. There is no badge.
- 4. Check out the list below for ways you can help.
Goals
Any improvements you can make to the profiles of the Remember the Alamo are welcome, but here are some specific goals we're working towards:
- You can search on WikiTree for existing profiles to add the template to. For help or questions, contact Mary Richardson
- For each person:
- Search for sources to ensure each connected person has sources.
- All duplicates merged into the final lowest profile ID number.
- Template included on the page
- All relevant categories are added
- Parents are correct and documented
- Biography is cleaned up, free of any GEDCOM junk, Ancestry trees, etc., and ideally has an actual written biography.
- Final ID locked, marking the profile as project protected (must be done by one of the Project Leaders)
