At the age of about 19 she married John Peard on 4 February 1802 in the Parish Church at Georgeham, Devon. They were married by the Reverend Thomas Hole[2]. The witnesses were W Prole and John Williams.

Thurfday laft was married, Mr. John Peard, of Georgeham, to Mifs Prole, of the same place.[3]
Rebecca was living at North Lobb, Braunton when she passed away on 17 July 1841 at the age of 60[4]:

DEATHS.
At Braunton, Saturday last, Rebecca relict the late John Peard, Esq., of Lobb, in that parish.[5]
She was buried on 22 July 1841 at St Brannock Churchyard, Braunton, Devon, England[6][7].
