Margaret was the daughter of Margaret (unknown) Grace. Her parents were born in Wales.
In 1900 she is listed as the stepdaughter of David Grace, the head of household, and his wife Margaret. David Grace was a coal miner.[1]
Maggie married George C. Snodgrass 8 Feb 1904 in Marion County, West Virginia.[2]
George Snodgrass was killed in the Monongah no. 8 Mine Disaster on 6 December 1907.
She married Waitman "Wate" Goff 8 Nov 1910 at Monongah, Marion, West Virginia. There is a "W" beside each of their names, indicating widow or widower.[3]
She married Dr. Lyndon Sewell Smith, a native of Sullivan County, New Hampshire. At the time of the marriage she was divorced. The marriage record says she was born in Preston County, West Virginia. The marriage took place in Monongah, Marion, West Virginia on 28 June 1917. [4]
