Biography
Thomas Eric was born in 1894. He was the son of Thomas Prosser and Amy Murfitt. [1]
LEESTON. (Before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M.) . Mrs Thomas Eric Prosser sought a separation order, maintenance for herself and five children, and also guardianship of the children from her husband. After hearing evidence the Magistrate granted the separation order, and guardianship of the children, and also maintenance for the children at 4s per week each, making a total of 20s. No maintenance was granted to the wife. [2]
Thomas Eric Prosser was charged with being intoxicated while in charge of a motor car.—Senior Sergeant Vaughan stated that a traffic inspector had noticed the accused in Cumberland street on Saturday evening and had followed him. At the Police Station he was, found to be in an advanced state of intoxication. —The accused stated that, although the car did. not belong to him, he drove it regularly. He had not been aware that his condition was as bad as it had been.—He was fined £2O, with medical expenses (£1 1s), his licence was cancelled and he was prohibited from, driving for a period of 12 months [3]
He passed away in 1971 age 76. [4]
