Michel Legardeur 44 ; Marguerite Gaillart, sa femme, 42 ; enfants : Claude 13, Madeleine 12, Michelle (sic, Michel) 10, Marguerite 9, Charles 7, Jean Baptiste 6 ; 2 fusils ; 4 bêtes à cornes ; 2 chevaux ; 30 arpents en valeur.[2][3]

Note: Les 2 enfants Legardeur-Gaillard déjà nés sont absents du recensement, possiblement mis en nourrice? Claude et Michelle (François Michel en fait) sont les enfants Provost; Charles et Jean Baptiste sont les enfants Saucier; Madeleine et Marguerite sont les enfants Legardeur-Gambier. Marguerite Gaillard a été écrit Marguerite Vaillant, erreur évidente du censeur.

C. de m. François Provost, fils de feu François Provost et Marguerite Gaillard; et Marie-Catherine Bonhomme, fille d ’Ignace Bonhomme et feu Agnes Morin (23 octobre 1695). Notaire Louis Chambalon[4][5]

L'acte de mariage comme tel est perdu. Il aurait eu lieu à Ste-Foy selon Jetté.
