Gerald was born in 1911. He was the son of Ovid Provost. He passed away in 1977.
Gerald N. Provost, 66, died December 5, in a hospital in South Weymouth, Mass.
He was born in Dexter, July 20, 1911 son of Ovid J. and Olive (Poulin) Provost. He attended Dexter schools and moved to So. Weymouth in 1952. He was a retired tools designer.
He is survived by his wife, Constance (Olson) Provost; three daughters, Joyce Provost, So. Weymouth; Mrs. Norma Cole, Plantation, Fla.; Mrs. Pamela Smart, Tamarack, Fla. Also, two brothers, Carroll of So. Weymouth, and Roland W. of Dexter; and two sisters, Matilda Provost and Emily P. Davis, both of West Hartford, Ct.
He also leaves three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were December 7, in South Weymouth. Burial was in Knoll Wood Cemetery, Canton, Mass. Arrangements by C.C. Shepherd Funeral Service, So. Weymouth.
