Biography

James Prudden's daughter Elizabeth was born in England, and baptized on 17 Dec 1615, King Walden, Hertfordshire, England, [1][2] She came to America with her father James Prudden and her sister Ann Prudden in 1637. [3] James Prudden was admitted as freeman, 20 Nov 1639 - On a list of free landholders this date.[4]

Elizabeth was admitted to the First Church of New Haven 8 September, 1644.[5] She married by 1647, William Slough of Milford who was excommunicated from the church and executed at New Haven for "horrible depravity". Elizabeth married second, at Milford, December 18, 1653, Roger Pritchard. [3] [6][2] Elizabeth died 27 April 1668, Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut Colony [7]
