Margaret Pauline Pruitt was born in November of 1919 in Alabama (1920 Census indicates Alabama) or Tennessee (1930 Census indicates Tennessee). On the 1930 Census she is listed in the household of her widowed father; Finley Pruitt with two siblings in Plevna, Madison, Alabama. [1] At the age of 16; she married James Hall in Madison, Alabama on March 23, 1935. [2] She passed away in 1990 at the age of 70. [3]

Records (census) indicate that her father was Finley Pruitt (Find A Grave Memorial ID # 80314261) and her mother was Alice Minerval (Tankersley) Pruitt (Find A Grave Memorial ID # 80314315). Her parents were married on January 12, 1898 in Franklin, Tennessee. [4]
