Research Notes
Could it be that wife Sarah is indeed Sarah Hummer (Pickle) Pfaffenberger (1795-1868) and "Sarah Wagoner" is actually Peter's sister? Seemingly refuting this book record is the death record of Sarah Wagoner Puffenbarger indicating a "Sarah Wagoner" as parent of Sarah Puffenbarger.[1]
