Peter was born iabout 1782. He was the son of George Puffenbarger. He passed away in 1860.

Research Notes

Could it be that wife Sarah is indeed Sarah Hummer (Pickle) Pfaffenberger (1795-1868) and "Sarah Wagoner" is actually Peter's sister? Seemingly refuting this book record is the death record of Sarah Wagoner Puffenbarger indicating a "Sarah Wagoner" as parent of Sarah Puffenbarger.[1]
