Henry was born in 1846. Henry was the child of John Pugh and Elizabeth Pifer. Henry passed away in 1932. [1]
Family history says that four Pugh brothers joined the union army together during the Civil War and served with the 21st PA Cavalry. This site lists Mark, Henry George as enlisting on 1 Aug 1863 for a 6 month enlistment.

Henry is listed as absent, sick, at muster out on Feb 20, 1864.
George is listed as the Farrier and that he "Transferred to Company D, 182d, 3 years' Regiment P. V., January 26, 1864" and served until July 8, 1865.
