Biography

Solon was born in 1857. Solon is the child of Gordon Pugh and Jane Chambers.

In 1879 he married Effie Hawk. They had two children:

1. Alpha P(b-1890)
2. Gilbert H (b-1895)

Effie passed away in 1914. Solon married Mrs. Barbara M (Will) Jones later that year.

Solon passed away in 1940 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Fairview Heights, St. Clair County, Illinois, United States.

Research Notes

The FindAGrave memorial has a birth year of 1856. This seems wrong as there are primary records from West Virginia showing a birth year of 1857.
