Martha, daughter of William and Lydia Pulcifer, was born at Gloucester, MA on September 11, 1836.
She married Elihu Adams Hobart at Boston, MA on November 27, 1860. Records show Elihu was age 38 and an auctioneer; Martha was age 24.
Martha died a widow on May 2, 1880 at Gloucester and is buried there in Oak Grove Cemetery.
