Moses Pullen is shown as living in Bedford County, VA. from 1782-to 1787 when he paid taxes on six slaves. (Forergill and Nogle: VA Taxpayers 1782-1787). The Will of Moses was dated on January 1,1790. and recorded June 28, 1790. (W. Block 2, pg.34, Bedford Co.,VA.) He made his dear and loving wife exectress but did not name her or the children. The following were named as the children of Moses Pullen Sr. in a deed executed by the nine younger children to their eldest brother Thomas. (D. BK. 1, PG. 125, Sept. 27, 1790, Bedford Co, VA.) This Thomas Pullen was born 1761, as shown in the Revolutionary Pension Records, Washington Archives, #515857. Children named in the Deed: Thomas, Moses, Mary (Polly), Nancy, Quintilla, Lydia, John, William, Archibald, and Jesse.
On September 22, 1806, the children of Moses Pullen Sr. and their spouses conveyed to Thomas Pullen a certain tract of land Lying in Bedford Co., VA.; Thomas built a house there in 1825, a lovely place which is still owned and lived in by heirs of Thomas Pullen. The heirs who signed the deed were: John Carter and Polly, Augustine Carter and Nancy, John Thomas and Quintilla, Moses Pullen JR. and Eilizabeth (Fuqua), Thomas Preston and Lydia, John Pullen, WIlliam Pullen, Jesse Pullen, And Archibald Pullen who married Mary Carter. https://www.ancestry.com/search/collections/48638
