Additional Biography from Molly Atkinson Ford

Eugene & Rossie Pulliam were my great grandparents from Elbert County, GA. They then moved from Royston, Ga to Shady Dale, GA to be cotton gin farmers until bolweevils destroyed their crops. They moved to Atlanta to start anew where Eugene worked construction to help build Peachtree Street. By the mid 1920s Eugene was working in an Atanta Icehouse (Kirkwood plant) where he was electrocuted/died in 1927. Rossie died a year later, and the kids were all split up. He, his wife Rossie , their son Omer, and two of Rossie's sisters are laid to rest in the Eastview Cemetery in Decatur, GA (East Atlanta.)
