Research Notes

Ann's birth date as built here agrees with the Family Data Collection (FDC) entry. The year is actually given ans 1701 on Find-A-Grave. This makes her birth date very close to her brother Thomas Pulliam who is listed as being born in May 12, 1702. More research is needed.

Widow, Ann Sandige, married (2) Joseph Martin of Louisa County, Va. ca. 1754. Widow Ann Sandige would have been about 52 yrs old when she married Joseph Martin. At the time of this marriage Joseph still had 9 children left at home for Ann to raise. They ranged from 2 years to 18. According to the bond cited above, Ann had five children. There are no known children from the Ann Sandige/Joseph Martin marriage.

Pulliam-712 and Pulliam-379 appear to represent the same person because: The death date on Pulliam -712 is incorrect. I think she remarried in 1754 died in 1794. That's if Pulliam-379 is correct. The source used in Pulliam-712 actually shows her married to Joseph Martin. So I suspect a typo in the original source. The earlier family is suspect.
