Biography

Norman Punchard was born 7 Apr 1898 in Stoke Upon Trent, Staffordshire, England to William Punchard and Elizabeth (Haden) Punchard. His birth was registered in Stoke On Trent in the second quarter of the year.[1] Norman was christened in Stoke on Trent on 28 Apr 1898.[2]

In 1901 Norman Punchard (age 2) lived at Hall Street in Stoke Upon Trent with his father Wm (42, Gen Coachman), mother Elizabeth (41), and five older siblings: Wm E (19, Tailor), Charles J (17, Railway Goods Porter), Frieda (11), Ernest (10), and Thomas (6).[3]

In 1911 Norman Punchard (age 12, School) lived in Stoke Upon Trent with his father William (52, Coachman Postery), mother Elizabeth (51), brother Thomas James (16, Railway Servant), brother-in-law George Wilson Salt (21, Miner Loader), sister Freda Salt (21), and niece Millicent Freda Salt (1).[4]

Norman Punchard married Philomena M Walters in 1928.[5]

Norman and May had at least one son: Anthony F Punchard (1931-).

Norman's wife Philomena M Punchard passed away in 1938.

Norman Punchard passed away in 1944, aged 46 years.[6]
