In 1841 Ann Punchard (age 3) lived at Church Yard in Rattlesden with her father Jeremiah (40-44), mother Sarah (40-44), and twelve siblings: John (20-24), Susan (19-23), Jeremiah (17-21), William (15-19), Mary Ann (11), Eliza (10), Charles (9), Ellen (7), Emma (6), Caroline (5), Henry (2), and George (0).[2]
In 1851 Ann Punchard (age 13) lived in Rattlesden with her father Jeremiah (51, Ag Lab), mother Sarah (49), five siblings: Ellen (17), Henry (11), Henry[George] (10), Alfred (8), and Harry (6), nephew Herbert Punchard (3), and grandfather William Ranson (72, Ag Lab).[3]
[Previously, Ann's date of death was stated as 1858 in Rattlesden. However, the Ann Punchard who passed away in 1858 was 88 years old and therefore not the correct person.[4]]
In 1861 Ann Punchard (age 26, Cook) lived at Eaton Place in Brighton, Sussex in the household of Catherine Rice (Keeper of Ladies School).[5]
