Charles' will (written 1830 - probate dated 23 May 1840) (viewable on ancestry) mentions wife Ellen, son Charles and daughter Mary Smith 'of Drinkston'.
Charles had been attached as a son of Charles Punchard (abt.1729-1789) but his father appears to be a different Charles (see notes on his profile).
